Abstract

초록

본 연구는 장애인의 일상생활차별경험과 취업여부의 상태변화에 따라 그들의 생활만족도가 어떻게 달라지는지를 노인과 비노인으로 구분하여 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국장애인고용공단의 장애인고용개발원에서 구축한 제3차에서 제8차 장애인고용패널자료를 활용하여 장애인 3,710명을 추출하였으며, 이를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 비노인과 노인 모두에서 일상생활차별 없음이 유지된 경우와 차별이 없음으로의 변화가 장애인의 생활만족도를 높여주는 요인으로 나타났다. 반면, 일상생활차별 있음이 유지된 경우는 비노인과 노인 모두에서 생활만족도를 낮추는 요인임이 밝혀졌으며, 일상생활차별 있음으로 변화된 경우는 생활만족도에 영향이 없음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 비노인 경우에는 취업을 유지한 경우와 취업으로의 변화가 생활만족도를 향상시키는 요인으로 나타난 반면, 노인의 경우에는 취업을 지속적으로 유지한 경우만 생활만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 보였다, 셋째, 비노인 경우에는 미취업으로의 변화와 미취업을 지속적으로 유지한 경우가 생활만족도를 낮추는 요인으로 나타난 반면, 노인의 경우에는 미취업을 지속적으로 유지한 경우만 생활만족도에 부정적인 영향을 보였다, 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로, 장애인의 일상생활차별경험을 줄이거나 취업의 활성화를 통해 생활만족도를 높일 수 있는 몇 가지 함의를 제언하였다.;This study was aimed to examine the effect of change in daily life discrimination experiences and employment status on life satisfaction in elderly and non-elderly people with disabilities. Forthis purpose, the sample consists of 3,710 individuals drawn from 3rd~8th waves of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED). The results of this study were summarized as follows: (1) constant non-discrimination and change to non-discrimination experiences were positively associated with life satisfaction of the disabled regardless of age. On the other hands, constant discrimination experiences were natively related to life satisfaction for both groups, whereas change to discrimination experiences had no relationship. (2) Maintaining employment and becoming employed were likely to increase life satisfaction for the non-elderly, however, only remaining employed was positively related to life satisfaction for the elderly. (3) Becoming unemployed and maintaining unemployment were negatively associated with life satisfaction of the non-elderly, however, for the elderly, only maintaining unemployment had negative impact on their life satisfaction. These findings were discussed in terms of implication to improve life satisfaction of people with disabilities by reducing daily life discrimination experiences or promoting employment.
