본 연구는 경로당의 운영방식에 따른 이용노인의 생활만족도에 따른 영향요인을 분석하여 경로당의 운영형태별 차별화된 정책대안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 최근 복지인프라가 부족한 농촌지역의 경우 경로당을 단순한 여가시설이 아닌 공동으로 생활하는 주거시설로 활용하여 독거노인의 고독감과 외로움을 해소하는 데 일정한 기여를 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 전국 최초로 경로당을 공동생활시설로 전환하여 운영하고 있는 김제시를 대상으로 기존 단순 여가시설 경로당과 공동주거시설로 전환한 경로당의 이용노인 756명을 대상으로 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 선행연구 분석을 통해 경로당 이용노인의 인구학적 요인과 사회경제적 요인 그리고 심리․정서적 요인과 생활만족도간의 인관관계를 경로당의 운영형태별로 분석하였고 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경로당의 운영형태에 따라 심리정신적 건강과 사회경제적 특성에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 일반여가시설 경로당과 공공거주시설 전환 경로당의 생활만족도는 공통적으로 월 지출액, 친척의 수와 같은 변수들이 유미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 친구의 수와 관련해서는 일반 여가시설 경로당은 많을수록 생활만족도가 높은 반면, 공동거주시설 경로당은 친구수가 적을수록 생활만족도가 높은 부적 인과관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 경로당의 운영형태에 따라 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 상당한 차이가 있었다. 공동거주시설의 경우 우울증 정도와 이용만족도가 생활만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 일반여가시설 경로당 이용자는 자살의향과 인지능력정도가 생활만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 분석결과를 토대로 경로당의 운영형태별 프로그램의 차별화와 함께 공동거주시설 경로당 전환에 필요한 제도적 개선 그리고 표준메뉴얼 개발 등을 정책 대안으로 제시하였다. This study analysed factors having and impact on life satisfaction of the elderly using in senior citizen centers, which are the most universal facilities for the leisure of the aged. Recently, Senior Citizen Center transfer general leisure facility for group home living with other the elderly. Based on this situation changes, This study analysed factors having and impact on life satisfaction of the users in compliance with operation type of senior citizen center senior citizen center. Preceding studies have been reviewed and 756 the elderly who use senior citizen center as general leisure facility and senior citizen center as group home have participated in the survey. The results of this study are as follows. Fist, In compliance with operation type of senior citizen center differ the life satisfaction level, emotional situation, and socioeconomic characteristic. Second, the factors influencing of life satisfaction differ in compliance with operation type of senior citizen center. Specially, the factors influencing on life satisfaction the elderly using senior citizen center as group home are level of spending, the number of relatives and friends and so on. Third, life satisfaction of the elderly to use senior citizen center as group home mainly influencing on depression level and using satisfaction level. Based on the study results, this study suggested that senior citizen center in compliance with operation type must prepare various programs and government must reform welfare policies about senior citizen center with the trend of situation change.
