남녀관리자의 승진요인 분석(A Study on Factors Affecting Promotion of Managers - Focusing on G ender Difference -)

본 논문은 여성관리자패널조사를 활용하여 남녀관리자의 승진에 미치는 개인적인 차원의 변인을 파악하면서 동시에 승진에 미치는 변인의 차이가 남녀간에상이한지 파악하려는 시도를 하였다. 또한 승진에 있어서 중간관리자로의 승진과 중간관리자에서 핵심간부로의 승진을 구분하여 상세한 분석을 시도하였다.
Using Korean Women Manager Panel, this paper examines individual factors of promotion focusing on gender difference, and the effect of the gender of immediate superior on the subordinates’ promotion. Restricted approach is employed due to the limitations of the data. It analyze the difference of promotion rate according to the superior’s sex, distinguishing groups by subordinate’s gender and rank. It is expected to brighten the presence of the similarity-attraction, the queen bee syndrome, and the token effect in Korean companies. It illustrates that (1) the sexual difference in the factors of promotion presents, (2) the difference is varied by rank, and (3) low-rank female promotion is correspond with the similarity-attraction theory and the queen bee syndrome is observed in high-rank female promotion.
