[영문]This article describes the prevalence, assessment, and treatment of pain, as well as characteristics associated with pain, in 331 residents with dementia in 45 assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Overall, 21% of residents had pain, and pain was more commonly reported in for-profit facilities, and for those receiving professional assessment and treatment.
