본 연구는 청소년기 학교폭력 피해경험과 가해경험의 관계에서 사회적 관계의 조절효과를 파악하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 사회적 관계는 부모관계, 친구관계, 교사관계, 주변관계로 정의하였으며 각 관계 수준에 따라 피해경험이 가해경험에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2013년 9월에서 10월까지 김포시에 소재한 초등학생 803명, 중학생 1.116명, 고등학생 597명 총 2,516명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 spss 18.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 본 연구목적을 달성하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 부모관계는 피해경험과 가해경험의 관계에서 조절효과를 지니는 것으로 나타나 피해경험이 많더라도 부모관계가 좋은 집단은 가해경험이 감소되는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 피해경험과 가해경험에서 친구관계는 조절효과를 보였으나 친구관계가 좋은 집단은 피해경험이 많을수록 오히려 가해경험이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교폭력 피해경험과 가해경험의 관계에서 교사관계는 조절효과를 보이지 않았다. 넷째, 피해경험과 가해경험에서 주변관계는 조절효과를 지니는 것으로 확인되었으며 피해경험이 많더라도 주변관계가 좋은 집단은 가해경험이 감소되는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 부모관계와 주변관계는 피해경험과 가해경험의 관계에서 완충효과를 지니며 친구관계는 악화효과를 지니는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 피해경험에서 가해경험으로의 발전 예방을 위한 부모와 주변관계 역할의 중요성을 제시하였고 친구관계에 대한 방안에 대해서도 논의하였다. This study sought to examine the effect of social relationships on the relationship between school victimization and bullying experience. For the purposes of this study, 2,156 elementary, middle and high school students from Gimpo city were recruited as subjects. The data collected was then analyzed by means of the SPSS 18.0 statistics program. The results are as follows. First, parents, friends and surrounding relationships exhibited a moderating effect on the relationship between school victimization and bullying experience. Second, the relationship with teachers did not exhibit any moderating effects on the relationship between school victimization and bullying experience. These results indicate that parents and surrounding relationships appeared to have a protective function in terms of buffering the negative effects of school victimization experience on school bullying experience. However, relationships with friends appeared to have an aggravating effect. The findings were discussed within the context of creating intervention plans aimed at preventing school violence.
