본 연구의 목적은 가출청소년의 부모 학대경험과 학교폭력의 중복피해가 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 이 과정에서 공격성이 갖는 매개효과를 확인하고 이에 대한 실천적·정책적 개입 방안을 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유의표집을 통해 선정된 서울, 경기, 인천지역의 청소년 쉼터 28개 기관(일시·단기·중장기 시설)을 중심으로 2015년 4월부터 5월까지 약 4주간에 걸쳐 직접 방문 및 우편을 통한 262부의 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 목적에 맞추어 총 238부를 분석 자료로 활용하였으며, SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 일원배치 분산분석, 그리고 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 중복피해를 경험한 가출청소년의 공격성과 자살생각 수준이 그렇지 않은 청소년보다 더욱 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중복피해는 공격성을 매개로 자살생각에 정적인 영향을 미치는 완전매개의 효과를 갖는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 본 연구의 함의를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 가출청소년이 경험한 폭력피해에 대한 개입에 있어서 보다 정확한 진단 및 개입이 필요하다. 또한 이들의 자살생각에 대한 개입에 있어서는 쉼터와 CYS-net과 같은 지역사회의 연계 아래 공격성을 완화하기 위한 프로그램을 위시한 다체계적인 접근이 이루어져야하는 등의 정책적·실천적 개입 방안을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to 1) investigate the effects of the co-occurrence of child abuse and school victimization on suicidal ideation of runaway adolescents, 2) to examine the mediating effect of aggression, 3) in order to elucidate implications for runaway adolescents. To achieve these aims, a total of 238 adolescents, residing in runaway shelters were utilized. Data were analyzed by means of frequency analysis, and regression model analysis, making use of SPSS 21.0. The main results are as follows. First, runaways who experienced the co-occurrence of victimization accounted for about 25% of the total. Second, they were found to have a greater tendency towards suicidal ideation as well as aggression. Third, the co-occurrence of victimization among runaways increased suicidal ideation, and aggression was found to have a full-mediating effect. Based on these results, political and practical implications for runaways are discussed.
