본 연구의 목적은 전문대학에 재학 중인 예비 보육교사를 위한 다문화교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구에서 제시한 영유아교사를 위한 교육과정 개발의 방향을 반영하여 프로그램을 구성하고 사전과 사후에 다문화가정에 대한 인식, 다문화 인식, 다문화교육 효능감 검사를 실시하고 그 변화를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 본 프로그램은 예비보육교사가 다문화가정에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하도록 하는데 효과가 있었으며, 다문화 수용성과 존중성 등과 같은 다문화 인식, 그리고 다문화가정에 대한 배려 등과 같은 다문화교육 효능감 향상에도 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to compose an multicultural education program for the preservice early child care teacher training program, and examine its effectiveness. For this, 37 preservice childcare teachers were selected as the subjects: experimental group 21, comparing group 16. The subjects answered the questionnaires before and after applying the multicultural training program. As the pre-test results, both groups were homeogenous group. But after applying the multicultural program the experimental group were more positive for the multicultural family, and got higher score in multicultural awareness and multicultural efficay. Therefore, the program seemed to be effective in the improvement of presevice early childcare teacher’s mutlicultural perception and education efficacy.
