본 연구는 유아교육분야의 행복 연구들의 연도별 게재현황, 연구주제, 연구방법, 연구결과를 고찰함으로써 이 분야 행복 연구의 동향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 2014년 4월까지 이루어진 국내학술지논문 및 석․박사학위논문 총 119편을 선정하여 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 행복 관련 논문의 연도별 게재현황을 살펴본 결과, 행복 관련 논문은 2003년부터 시작되었고, 2009년부터 그 수가 꾸준히 증가하다가, 2012년 이후부터 최근 3년 간 급증하였다. 둘째, 행복 관련 논문을 연구주제에 따라 분석한 결과, 연구주제는 모두 5가지로 분류되었으며, ‘교사 행복과 타 변인과의 관련성’을 보는 연구가 가장 많았고, 다음으론 ‘부모 행복과 타 변인과의 관련성’, ‘유아 행복과 타 변인과의 관련성’ 순서로 연구가 이뤄졌다. 셋째, 행복 관련 논문의 연구방법을 분석한 결과, 연구대상으로는 교사, 부모, 유아, 예비교사, 문헌 순으로 나타났고, 연구유형으로는 양적연구, 질적연구, 문헌연구 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 행복 관련 논문의 연구결과를 살펴본 결과, ‘교육활동과 유아 행복과의 관계’, ‘교사의 유아교육 기관에서의 직무 관련 변인과 교사 행복과의 관계’, 그리고 ‘유아의 능력변인/양육행동 및 양육스트레스와 부모 행복과의 관계’ 연구가 주로 이루었으며, 이를 통해 유아, 교사, 부모의 행복은 이러한 변인들이 큰 상관을 갖고 있음이 가장 많이 입증되는 결과를 낳았다. This study was to review the research trends of domestic studies on happiness in Early Childhood Education by analyzing the trends of the research period, themes, methodologies, and results. To accomplish this purpose, 119 articles published till the April, 2014, were collected for analysis and the results were as follows. First, the number of articles had dramatically increased for the last three years with its first appearance in 2003 and the increase in number of articles in 2009. Second, the articles were classified by 5 research themes, and the theme of 'the teacher's happiness and the relationship with other factors' was the highest number of articles, and 'the parents happiness and the relationship with other factors' and 'the young children's happiness and the relationship with other factors' were the next in order. Third, the number of research subjects was current teachers, parents, young children, preliminary teachers, and literatures in order, and the number of research methodology was quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and literature analysis in order. Forth, the following factors like 'the young children's happiness in the relationship with the educational activities', 'the teachers' happiness related to the work-related satisfaction/stress', and 'the parents' happiness related to the fostering methods/stress or the abilities of their young children' were the most verified as the most popular factor for happiness of each subject.
