본 연구의 목적은 현재 어린이집에서 영아를 대상으로 실시하고 있는 제3차 어린이집 표준보육과정 6영역 중 예술경험 영역 활동을 기초로 예술경험 평가도구를 개발하여 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울시와 경기도에 소재한 22곳의 어린이집 영아 283명이었다. 예술경험활동 평가도구 초안은 3영역 60문항이었고, 전문가 내용타당도 검증과 요인분석 후에 3영역 18문항이 추출되었다. 최종 추출된 문항은 아름다움 찾아보기 4문항, 예술적 표현하기 10문항, 예술 감상하기 4문항이었고, 개발된 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도는 모두 높게 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 어린이집에서 적용할 수 있는 타당화된 예술경험활동과 평가항목을 추출하였다는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity and reliability of a measurement instrument used to assess the development of two-year-old children after they experienced an art activity based on the third standard care program. The subjects were 283 young children registered at 22 day-care centers in Seoul and Gyeong-gi provinces. After their assigned teachers observed the young children’s activities, the teachers used the given development measurement tool to assess the children’s development level as a consequence of the art experience. As a result of this study, three factors and 18 items were extracted from the initial 60 items after two expert validity examinations and several factor analyses. Those final items comprised four items from browsing beauty, ten items from artistic expression, and four items from art appreciation. The final instrument had high validity and reliability. The results of this study are meaningful because valid art experience activities and their evaluation instrument were identified as applicable to two-year-old children in day-care centers.
