본 연구는 예비보육교사의 임파워먼트 및 사회적 지지와 심리적 안녕감과의 관련성을 알아보고 임파워먼트와 사회적 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 어느 정도의 영향력을 미치는지에 대해 알아보는데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 보육교사교육원에 재학중인 예비보육교사 215명을 대상으로 임파워먼트 척도, 사회적 지지 척도, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심리적 안녕감은 예비보육교사의 배경변인 중 ‘결혼여부’와 ‘보육교사직 선택 동기’에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 예비보육교사의 임파워먼트 및 사회적 지지와 심리적 안녕감 간에 각각 정적상관을 보였다. 셋째, 중다선형 회귀분석 결과, 예비보육교사의 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 임파워먼트와 사회적 지지 하위변인들의 상대적 중요도는 임파워먼트가 사회적 지지에 비해 설명력이 높았다. 이러한 결과에 기초하여 제한점 및 시사점을 논의하였다. This study aimed to find the effects of preliminary child care teachers of empowerment and social support on psychological well-being. The Subjects, 215 preliminary child care teachers, answered the Empowerment Scale, Social Support Scale, and Psychological Well-being Scale. The results were as follows; First, there were significant differences in preliminary child care teachers' Psychological well-being according to marital status and motives for choosing their career among the sub-factors of background variables. Second, there were positive correlations between total and subscale scores of empowerment and psychological well-being of preliminary child care teachers. Also, there were positive correlations between the total and subscale scores of social support and psychological well-being of preliminary child care teachers. Third, from multiple linear regression analyses of the variables, empowerment had more significant influence on the psychological well-being of preliminary child care teachers than social support.
