애착은 부모-자녀 관계의 세부적 분류체계 이론으로 가장 널리 사용되어 온 개념이다. 영아기 애착안정성은 전 생애 발달과정에서 자아에 대한 내적표상, 대인관계 양상 및 기대감에 지속적인 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 애착형성의 결정적 시기를 포함하는 영아기를 중심으로 국내 애착연구의 체계적 문헌고찰을 통해 영아애착에 관한 종합적인 분석을 진행하고자 하였다. 이에 1984년 국내에서 최초로 진행된 한 편의 연구를 시작으로 2015년까지 국내학술지에 게재된 영아애착 연구에 대해 문헌고찰을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 영아애착 연구의 일반적인 동향과 연구주제, 대상, 방법의 경향에 대해 살펴볼 수 있었다. 또한, 영아의 애착유형과 발달의 관계에 대한 메타분석 결과, 애착안정성은 영아의 어린이집적응, 또래 및 교사와의 관계, 언어인지 및 문제행동과의 관계에서 유의한 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 추후에는 가정과 보육환경에서 영아의 복합적 애착관계에 대한 다양한 연구가 요구된다. Attachment theory has served as a useful typology of parent-child relationships. Attachment theory places an emphasis on the development of early attachment in the primary caregiver-child relationship that becomes the basis for later socialization as well as for later relationships with others. The purpose of this systematic review of literature was to provide a resource that summarized: a infant/toddler attachment research trend in Korea and the effect size of the associations between infants' attachment security and developmental outcomes. Results showed that both infant-mother attachment security and infant-teacher attachment security were significantly associated with infant developmental outcomes(i.e., cognitive, language, and social adjustment). The findings of this study suggest further research on the effects of infants' multiple attachment relationships in relation to infant development.
