초록
[영문]This study was designed to assess the effects of family-environmental factors on the fruit and snack consumption of 12- to 14-year-old adolescents participating in a Dutch program called Krachtvoer, or Power Food in English. Using a pretest/posttest design, 879 adolescents and about 1100 parents completed questionnaires. The family-environmental factors included parenting style, family food rules, and food availability and accessibility at home, among others. A validated two-question food frequency questionnaire was used to assess the students’ fruit and snack intakes. Family-environmental factors did not affect the fruit or snack intake of adolescents in this study.
