[영문]This quasi-experimental study was designed to test whether implementing a worksite wellness program among staff at child care centers affected the nutrition and physical activity environment of the children attending those centers. Eighty-two staff members at 13 centers in low-income neighborhoods in California completed the study. All centers received training and education about nutrition and physical activity, but only those staff in centers randomized to the intervention received a worksite wellness program. Although the intervention staff members’ own behavior did not change over the 9-month period, children in their care were given more fresh fruits and vegetables at regular meals and snacks.
