본 연구는 다문화가족지원센터의 사례관리 전담인력(사례관리사)가 경험하는 사례관리에대한 인식과 실천양상을 살펴봄으로써 다문화사례관리 실천의 방향성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구참여자는 다문화가족지원센터에서 사례관리 업무를 1년 이상 전담하고 있는 다문화가족지원센터 사례관리자 7명이며 포커스그룹 인터뷰 방법을 활용하여 수행되었다. 분석결과 다문화가족지원센터 사례관리자의 실천경험을 살펴보면, 첫째, 사례관리에 대한인식범주에서는 ‘막막함과 당황스러움’ ‘실천에 대한 확신 없음’ ‘역할 모호로 인한 정체성혼란’으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 사례관리실천 과정범주에서는 ‘의사소통의 어려움’ ‘다중적 실천 이슈에 대한 부담’ ‘중복된 클라이언트 체계의 딜레마’ ‘문화적 역량 부족’ ‘네트워크의 현실적 한계’ ‘비효율적 평가체계로 인한 소진’으로 나타났다. 세 번째 다문화사례관리 체계만들기 범주에서는 ‘자기 실천 점검과 성찰의 기회' ‘실천적 지식의 축적과 성장' ‘조직 내 지지와 협력강화' ‘지역네트워크 가동의 구심점' ‘정책변화에 따른 불안감’으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과분석을 토대로 사례관리 개념에 대한 합의 및 가이드라인 마련, 의사소통 등 다문화적 특성에 대응하는 조직차원의 노력확보, 문화적 역량강화를 위한 교육훈련, 다중영역 전문성 향상을 위한 수퍼비전 강화, 효율적 평가체계 구축, 다문화가족지원센터 운영체계 검토를 포함한 서비스 전달체계 변화에 대한 제언을 제시하였다. This study aimed to understand the experience of case management practice of case manager working in the multi-cultural family support centers, to explore direction of case management for multi-cultural family. Research participants were 7 case manager in the Multi-cultural family support centers and they have performed case management for Multi-cultural families more than one year. The Date were collected by in focus group interview and documents. As the analysis results, the experience of case management practice were categorized into 14 theme and 3 theme Clusters. First, in the area of cognition about case management; confused and ambiguous, Seconds, in the area of Working as a case manager; dilemmas about multiple intervention, Third, in the area of building case management system for multi-cultural family support; growth and change, anxiety about the future. Based on the findings, We have made suggestions for the practical implications and alternatives for case management in the multi-cultural family support centers.
