본 연구는 매입임대주택 입주민의 주거비 부담이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 그 과정에서 사회서비스의 조절효과를 검증하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위해 서울지역의 매입임대주택을 관리하는 운영기관 11곳을 선정하여 연구자와 기관 실무자가 설문조사를 진행하였다. 최종 분석 대상은 매입임대주택 입주민 245명이며, 이들을 대상으로 빈도분석, 기술통계 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주거비부담은삶의 질에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다양한 사회서비스 경험은 주거비 부담이 삶의 질에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 사회서비스가 주거비 부담과 같은 주거 빈곤 상황과 삶의 질의 관계에서 보호요인으로 작용할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 주거취약계층 매입임대주택 입주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 구체적인 개입 방안을 논하고, 정책적, 실천적 제언을 논의하고자 한다. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of housing cost burden on the quality of life among tenants living in government purchased rental housing areas, whether social service moderates the relationship between housing cost burden and the quality of life. Crucial findings are the following. First, housing cost burden showed a significantly negative relationship with the quality of life. Second, there are significant moderating effects of social service on housing cost burden - the quality of life. This result implies that social services can help alleviate negative consequences occurring from the burden of housing cost. Based on the results, the policy and practical implications for improving the quality of life among tenants living in public rental housing were discussed.
