[영문]In this study, we analyzed medical staffs' attitudes toward images of the elderly. In March of 2006, a series of interview on their perceptions about the elderly was added to the questionnaire to obtain information about how they were satisfied with components of the image scale of the elderly. Respondents for this survey are composed of 149 community residents aging from 20s to 50s, selected among 2 elderly treating hospitals. In this study, subjects were asked about ①their socio-familial background, and ②how satisfied they were with the image item of the elderly and residential environment of the elderly they treat in the hospital. The appropriate primary health care for these elderly within context was integrated both socio-cultural and bio-medical models. Participation of the elderly, family member, community, social worker, and health care provider was the strategy for age-friendly primary health care development. Regarding age differences, there are two items showing significant age differences; they are humble and they are responsible. The younger group had higher agreement level than 50s, indicating that young medical staffs such as nurse and doctors have encounter humble and responsible elderly
