[영문]In this study, we visited naturally occurring retirement community(NORC) in the United States and Canada between 2003 and 2007, thereafter report variety practical examples of those communities. NORC is a community or neighborhood where residents remain for years, and age as neighbors, a NORC or Naturally Occurring Retirement Community develops. A NORC may refer to a specific apartment building, or a street of old single family homes. Residents would just have stayed in their home or apartment for many years, and evolved into a senior community. In particular, Weed attracts elderly population for a mythical and occult figure of MT. Shasta; the elderly believed the mountain accommodates spirit of wandering emotionality of the elderly. In Weed, we can see a marrying couple of mid 70s on a public park. In addition, we see a street parade propelled by the elderly community dwellers. There is a large NORC nested along a shore side on the Lake Ontario. It is called Wellington on the Lake, and located in the city of Wellington. Wellington on the lake is one of Canada's finest active adult communities for people who dream of country living at a fraction of big city prices
