[영문]In this paper, we used data from a regional survey on satisfaction and agreement level scale of retiring local workers service among Korean mid aged men in medium city areas. In this study, subjects were asked about ①their socio-familial background, and ②how agreeable they were with retirement plan items such as their financial plan, housing changes, starting new work, and other new plans. The background variables were gender, age, marital status, education, religion, housing type, number of household members living together, and average amount of income earned by all the household members in the last 12 months. In particular, there is a regional impacts on how they will spend retirement income source. In urban area, subjects answered that more than 37 percent would spend for new investment of personal business, while 32 percent did for rural area. As for payment of social life cost after retirement, more than 45% of rural respondents would work but only 38% would earn the money by working in urban residents
