연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 안마업 이외의 직종에 종사 혹은 구직하려는 시각장애인의 직업재활 과정을 통해 시각장애인의 직업재활 경험을 이해하고 직업재활 서비스의 개선점을 제시하는데 있다. 연구방법: 안마업 이외의 직종에 종사 혹은 구직하는 9명의 시각장애인을 대상으로 개별심층인터뷰를 실시하였으며 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론(Grounded Theory)을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 분석 결과 총 100개의 개념들이 도출되었고, 이들은 31개의 하위범주와 14개의 범주로 유목화되었다. 이를 바탕으로 시각장애인의 직업재활 경험에 관한 모형을 제시하였다. 시사점: 시각장애인의 직업재활에 필요한 서비스로는 시각장애인을 위한 심리·집단상담, 멘토링 서비스, 전문적인 구직상담 및 직업알선, 개별 시각장애인의 사례관리, 서비스 제공 방식 개선, 사후관리 서비스 등으로 요약되었으며 이와 관련해 함의를 제시하였다. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to improve the vocational rehabilitation services for people with visual disabilities who work in occupations other than massage through the understanding of their rehabilitation processes. Method: A total of 9 individual depth interviews were conducted for participants with visual disabilities who work or seek occupations other than massage and Strauss and Corbin(1998)'s Grounded Theory was utilized for the data analysis. Results: Based on the analysis, a total of 100 concepts were categorized and 31 sub-categories and 14 categories were classified. Additionally, a Model for the rehabilitation of people with visual disabilities was proposed. Implications: As a result, services and implications related to individual psychological and group counseling services, mentoring services, professional career counseling and job match, individual case management, individualized service delivery, post-employment services were proposed.
