본 연구는 장애인의 고용유지에 대한 산업체 구성원들과 특수교사의 인식 수준과 두 집단 간의 인식 차이를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시 소재 특수학교 및 특수학급에 근무하는 특수교사 146명과 현장중심 직업교육 및 워크 투게더 프로그램 참여하는 사업체의 고용주, 직장상사, 동료근로자 129명을 대상으로 ‘장애학생 고용유지 요인 조사’를 실시하고 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 이에 따른 주된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인의 고용유지 요인에 대한 산업체 구성원들의 인식은 개인생활관련 요인 및 법률 및 제도관련 요인에서 사업장 형태, 업종, 사업장 유형에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 장애인의 고용유지 요인에 대한 특수교사의 인식은 사회 및 환경관련 요인에서 성별, 연령, 근무지에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 장애인의 고용유지 요인에 대한 산업체 구성원과 특수교사의 인식은 장애인 고용유지 전체와 모든 하위 요인에서 특수교사의 인식이 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 도출된 결과를 토대로 장애인 고용유지 향상을 위한 산업체구성원과 특수교사의 실제적 역할에 대하여 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of recognition on employment maintenance of individuals with disabilities of the members of industry and the teachers on special education, as well, to explore the difference of recognition of the two groups. To these ends, 129 members of industry and 146 teachers on special education were required to complete questionnaire. The results were as follows. First, in terms of recognition of members of industry, there were statistically significant differences in domains such as factors of person's daily lives and of law and institution according to types of business, categories of business, and patterns of business. However there was no significant difference according to the position of members. Second, in terms of recognition of teachers on special education, there were statistically significant differences in domain such as factors of society and environment according to teachers' gender, age, and grade of school. However there were no significant differences in domains such as factors of person's daily lives, vocation, and law and institution. Third, the difference of recognition level between members of industry and teachers on special education was verified. That is, level of recognition of teachers on special education was higher than that of members of industry on the all of the four domains. Based on these results, it will be possible to provide specific and useful information and instruction with students with disabilities to improve the level of employment maintenance.
