본 연구에서는 장애 학생과 성인을 위한 국내외 현장중심 직업교육 프로그램의 연구동향 및 구성요소를 조사하고 이를 토대로 국내 현장중심 직업교육 프로그램 개발 및 실행을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 분석기준에 의거하여 국내외 논문 총 19편을 선정하였다. 국외 논문은 주정부지원의 연구프로그램과 기업의 요구로 실행한 대규모 연구와 사례연구가 대부분이었으며 국내 연구는 개별 연구자에 의해서 진행된 실험연구가 주를 이루었다. 프로그램의 계획 및 준비, 실행에 따른 하위 구성요소들의 분석 결과, 참여자 선정 과정, 프로그램 계획 및 준비를 위한 협의, 협력을 위한 의사소통체계 구축 및 실행을 위한 다양한 지원전략과 성과측정 방법이 사용되고 있었다. 이를 토대로 장애 학생의 성공적인 전환을 위한 향후 과제 및 발전방안에 대한 제언으로 프로그램의 계획 및 실행과 관련하여 효과적인 현장중심 직업교육 경험을 제공하기 위한 팀구성원의 원활한 의사소통을 위한 지원체계, 실습업체 개발 및 관련 연구 활성화, 제도적 지원 방안 등이 논의되었다. This study investigated components and outcomes of work-based learning programs, a part of transition education program for adolescents and young adults with disabilities. For this purpose, 19 articles regarding work-based learning programs published from 2000 to 2015 were identified and analyzed by modified standards based on previous studies and reports. The results showed that public research funding and employment needs of enterprises affected volumes of foreign research while majority of research published in Korea were conceived and developed by investigators and were small in scale. Studies on work-based learning programs which showed effective achievements on students' job related skills and employment included participants recruit plan, team-based approach, communication, support strategies, educational supports for families and employers representatives, and on-going assessment for the students with disabilities. Finding community job sites and collaboration with employers remained challenges but potential indicators that can improve students' positive work experiences and ultimately employment rates. Based on reviewing components of work-based programs, research published in Korea focused on specific changes on students' job skills and performances. Several recommendations including effective communication systems among team members, job-site development strategies, related future research, policy and implications for developing career related programs for adolescents and young adults with disabilities are discussed.
