[영문]Germany and the U.S. share a keen interestin exploring the potential of care managementprograms for the chronically ill. Despiteobvious health system differences, in bothcountries there has been a proliferation of diseasemanagement models, initiated by a varietyof actors, paid for in different ways, targetingdifferent types of population groups,and encompassing a broad menu of interventionsand services. Comparison of three casestudies from the U.S. and four from Germanyreveals greater differences among modelswithin countries than between them.
