[영문]Concepts from the procedural justice literature in social psychologyare examined that offer useful guidance for social work researcherswith interests in investigating informal adjudications, specialitytreatment courts, and other areas of the administrative processpreviously neglected in mental health services research. Thesetheoretical concepts are offered as an alternative to the therapeuticjurisprudence framework being adopted by some social workers inthe field of law and mental health. The issues outlined in thispaper also draw on the health services and psychotherapy literatureto highlight issues involving process and procedure as socialjustice and their significance for advancing a new role for socialwork researchers in the field of law and mental health research
