KIHASA-Yonsei University-Inha University signed an MOU on Welfare State Research Collaboration

On November 15th, KIHASA, Yonsei University, and Inha University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Collaboration on Welfare State Research at Sangyeonjae, Jung-gu, Seoul.

The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Tae Soo, president of KIHASA; Choi Young-joon, professor and director of the Welfare State Research Center at Yonsei University; and Yoon Hong-sik, professor and director of the Welfare State Restructuring Center, Inha University. The brief MOU signing ceremony was followed by the 1st seminar of the Welfare  State Research Network in 2021, which was formed by the MOU; two more seminars are scheduled for this year. The seminar was attended by KIHASA research fellow Jeong Hong-won, associate research fellow Kim Ki-tae, Dongguk University professor Lee Ju-ha, Incheon University professor Lee Young-soo, Inha University professor Yoon Hong-sik, Hoseo University professor Kim Seong-wook, and Yonsei University professor Choi Young-joon.

In the future, each institution will continue to seek cooperative measures for forward-looking welfare state research to lay the groundwork for realizing the Korean welfare state in the fast chaning socioeconomic environment afte covid-19.
