KIHASA and NHIS signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Big Data Collaboration

On November 10th, KIHASA and the National Health Insurance Service (President Kim Yong-ik) signed an agreement on their collaboration on joint research and the spread of the use of health insurance big data.

Prior to the signing of the agreement, NHIS president Kim Yong-ik gave a special lecture on the future strategy of the health care supply system. In a seminar following the  signing of the agreement, Kang Shin-wook, senior research fellow of KIHASA and Kim Jae Yong, head of data management department at NHIS, each made a presentation on health insurance big data.

After the seminar, presidents of KIHASA, KDI, KLI, KIPF, and NHIS gathered together to discuss ways to collaborate with one another to maximize the benefits of using big data in policymaking.
