In this study, the factors affecting married women’s marital satisfaction were estimated using data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families, and the effect of marital satisfaction on childbirth plan and job satisfaction was also analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the factors affecting married women’s marital satisfaction were high in the sequence of communication, sexual relations satisfaction, current economic status, husband's satisfaction with housework, leisure activities with the husband. In addition, it was found that in the case of dual-income women, the sexual relations satisfaction increases the marital satisfaction more than the communication, and in the case of single-income women, the communication increases the marital satisfaction more than the sexual relations satisfaction. The result show that the marginal effect of the marital satisfaction on childbirth plan and job satisfaction was 19.5% and 29.2% respectively.
본 연구에서는 여성가족패널 자료를 이용하여 기혼여성의 결혼만족도에 미치는 요인을 추정하였고, 또한 기혼여성의 결혼만족도가 출산계획 및 직무만족도에 미치는 효과도 분석하였다. 분석 방법은 패널 순서형 로짓모형과 패널 로짓모형을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 기혼여성의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 대화 증감, 성관계만족도, 현재의 경제상태, 남편의 가사노동 만족도, 남편과 함께하는 여가활동 순으로 크게 나타났다. 또한 맞벌이 기혼여성은 남편과의 성관계만족도가 대화 증감보다 결혼만족도를 더 높이고, 외벌이 기혼여성은 대화 증감이 성관계만족도보다 결혼만족도를 더 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 기혼여성의 결혼만족도에 대한 출산계획과 직무만족도의 한계효과는 각각 19.5%, 29.2%로 나타나, 기혼여성의 결혼만족도는 출산계획 및 직무만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것이 증명되었다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 그동안 출산비용 지원제도에 관심을 기울인 정부정책이 부부생활과 관계된 결혼만족도도 간과할 수 없는 부분임을 환기시키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 결혼만족도 증가를 위해 근로시간 단축과 유연성 제고, 부부생활 심리상담 프로그램 등의 정책적 제언을 하였다.
