For out-of-home care children who experience multiple and subsequent crises, resilience can be an important internal resource to appropriately cope with and overcome crises and difficulties during transition to adulthood. Therefore, it is necessary to provide opportunities to improve resilience in the process of protecting children. Based on the cognitive behavioral model, this study tried to explore the effects of protection and self-reliance preparation support services and program experiences on resilience through self-efficacy as a medium to examine whether the support in the protection process can act as a turning point in the life of a protected child. The outcomes from the Hayes mediation analysis found that academic achievement, social support, and experience of obtaining certifications had a significant effect on resilience through self-efficacy. Based on the research results, it is suggested to improve services and programs to support protection and self-reliance preparation.
회복탄력성은 가정외보호 아동이 보호종료와 이후 자립과정에서 경험하는 어려움을 극복하고 적절하게 대처할 수 있도록 하는 주요 내적 자원이다. 성장과정에서 어떠한 경험을 하는지에 따라 회복탄력성 수준이 달라질 수 있으므로 보호과정에서 이를 향상시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 인지행동모델에 기초하여 보호 및 자립준비 지원 서비스와 프로그램 경험이 자기효능감을 매개로 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고 보호과정에서 제공되는 서비스와 프로그램 등의 지원이 보호아동의 인생에 전환점으로 작용할 수 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. Hayes의 매개효과 검증 분석 결과, 학업 성취, 사회적 지지, 자격증 취득 경험이 자기효능감을 매개로 회복탄력성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 보호와 자립준비 지원을 위한 서비스와 프로그램 개선 방안을 제시하였다.
