본 연구의 목적은 노인요양시설 기부행위자 집단을 대상으로 기부에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간의 인과관계를 규명함으로써 이들의 기부에 대한 태도를 긍정적인 방향으로 유도하거나 유지시키는데 도움이 되는 이론적ㆍ실천적 함의를 도출하는데 있다. G광역시에 소재하고 있는 노인요양시설에 현금 기부를 하고 있는 기부행위자 집단으로부터 수집된 378부의 설문지를 대상으로 구조방정식모형의 검증 등 통계분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기관의 사업 성취도와 의사소통의 질은 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 기관의 사업 성취도와 의사소통의 질은 기부에 대한 태도에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 신뢰는 기부에 대한 태도에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 신뢰는 기관의 사업 성취도와 기부에 대한 태도의 사이에서, 그리고 의사소통의 질과 기부에 대한 태도의 사이에서, 각각 유의한 매개변수로 기능한다. 끝으로, 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 노인요양시설에 대한 기부행위 증진 방안의 마련에 도움이 될 수 있는 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of the present study is to examine the causal relationships between factors influencing attitudes toward giving behavior and to draw out policy implications in terms of enhancing attitudes toward giving behavior among the donors donating to nursing homes for older people. A convenience sample was taken of the donors donating to nursing homes for older people in G Metropolitan City. A total of 378 questionnaires were used in the statistical analyses. A proposed structural model has also been identified to have a structural explanation for the causal relationships. The results of the study are as follows. First, performance of the organization and quality of communication have a significant effect on trust respectively. Second, performance of the organization and quality of communication have a significant effect on attitudes toward giving behavior respectively. Third, trust has a significant effect on attitudes toward giving behavior. Fourth, trust could be a mediating variable between performance of the organization and attitudes toward giving behavior and trust could be a mediating variable between quality of communication and attitudes toward giving behavior. Finally, theoretical and practical implications were also discussed.
