본 연구는 청소년상담기관 상담자의 상담기록 과정에 대한 경험을 구체적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년상담기관 상담자 12명을 대상으로 전화인터뷰를 실시하였고, 합의적 질적 연구방법을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 기록과정에 대해 4개의 영역과 20개의 범주가 추출되었다. 4개의 영역은 ‘상담기록물 생성 내용’, ‘상담기록물 생성 방법’, ‘상담기록물의 관리’, ‘상담기록물의 폐기’의 영역이 도출되었다. 영역별 범주의 내용으로는 상담기록물 생성 내용 영역에서는 ‘내담자의 이야기, 감정, 행동을 기록함’, ‘상담 시 활용한 자료, 상담 이외의 내용, 부모와의 상담내용을 기록함’, ‘전자기록과 공식기록에 비해 종이기록에는 상담자의 주관적 평가가 자유롭게 기록됨’이 전형적 범주로 도출되었고 상담기록물 생성 방법 영역에서는 ‘기록의 내용과 수준은 상담자의 판단과 상황에 따라 달라짐’, ‘접수면접부터 종결까지 요구되는 양식을 기록물로 남김’, ‘기록의 형식에는 공유된 원칙이 있음’이 도출되었다. 상담기록물 관리 영역에서의 일반적 범주로는 ‘종이기록 및 상담파일의 관리는 보안상 잠재적 취약성을 갖고 있음’, ‘개인정보 보호에 대한 의구심이 있음’이 나타났고 전형적 범주로는 ‘분류기준이 마련되지 않음’이 도출되었다. 상담기록물의 폐기 영역에서는 ‘폐기 기간을 잘 모르고 관심이 없음’이 전형적 범주로 도출되었다. 이를 통해 청소년상담기관의 상담기록생성에서 폐기까지의 과정을 파악하고, 상담기록에 대한 인식을 제고하여 상담기록에 대한 교육과정개발 및 상담기록의 체계적인 관리방법론을 모색하고자 하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the experiences of adolescent counselors’ counseling record process. To this end, we interviewed 12 counselors from youth counseling agencies and analyzed the data harvested by means of consensual qualitative research methods. Four areas and 20 categories were created. In the four areas, the areas of ‘creation of counseling records’, ‘methods of generating counseling records’, ‘management of counseling records’, and ‘discarding counseling records’ were created. The purpose of this study was to identify the stages within the life process of counseling records, from their generation at counseling centers to their disposal at counseling centers. The underlying motivation for this was to improve the recognition of counseling records, and to develop a systematic management methodology for counseling records development and the maintenance of counseling records.
