본 연구는 수도권과 지방의 문화 인프라 이용 빈도 및 이용 편리성 인식 차이를 살펴보고, 어머니의 온정적 양육행동과 양육스트레스 및 가구의 문화 인프라 이용 빈도가 아동의 사회적 기술에 영향을 미치는 영향력을 검토해 보기 위해 수행되었다. 또한 이러한 영향력이 수도권과 지방에서 차이를 보이는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 7차년도(2013년) 참여자 1,620명을 대상으로 연구문제에 따라 t-test, 구조방정식 모형, 다집단분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 수도권과 지방의 문화 인프라 이용 빈도와 편리성 인식은 차이가 있었으며, 어머니의 양육행동, 양육스트레스, 가구의 문화 인프라 이용 빈도는 아동의 사회적 기술에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가구의 문화 인프라 이용 빈도는 어머니의 온정적 양육행동이 아동의 사회적 기술에 미치는 영향력을 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 연구결과는 수도권과 지방에서 동일하게 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 어머니의 온정적 양육행동을 증진시킬 수 있는 사회적 지원과 지역사회의 문화 인프라 확산이 필요함을 알 수 있다. The aim of this study is to investigate the differences regarding the usage frequencies and the usage conveniences of cultural infrastructure for young children between metropolitan areas and local areas. The study also examined the effects of parenting behavior, parenting stress, and the usage frequencies of cultural infrastructure on young children’s social skills. The seventh annual data(2013) of the Panel Study on Korea Children was used for the data analysis, and the data were analyzed by t-test, structural equation model and multi-group analysis. The results were as follows. First, differences of the usage frequencies and the usage conveniences of cultural infrastructure for young children were found between metropolitan areas and local areas. Second, it was found that the warmth of parenting behavior, parenting stress, and the usage frequencies of cultural infrastructure impacted young children’s social skills. Third, the usage frequencies of the cultural infrastructure were mediated by the warmth of parenting behavior and children’s social skills. Based on the results, measures to improve the warmth of parenting behavior and the spread of cultural infrastructure in local areas were suggested.
