본 연구는 유치원 음률영역을 활성화하기 위한 방안을 모색하여 실행하면서, 그 과정을 통해 교사와 유아가 어떻게 변화해나가는지를 살펴본 실행연구로서 2012년 9월부터 12월까지 만 5세반 유아들과 경력 5년차 교사 1명을 대상으로 진행되었다. 교사가 인식한 문제는 협소하고 단조로운 공간구성, 음악교수 방법에 대한 변화 필요, 음률영역의 중요성에 대한 인식 부족, 음률영역에서 상호작용의 부재 등이었다. 음률영역의 활성화를 위한 실행연구를 통해 유아교사는 실행의 주체가 되어 반성적으로 사고하고 연구하기, 음률영역 활성화를 위한 다양한 시도 속에서 음악교수 지식 넓혀가기, 유아들과 함께 음악을 즐기는 교사 되기라고 하는 변화를 경험하였다. 음률영역의 활성화를 위한 실행연구를 통해 유아들은 음률영역에 대한 참여도 증가, 자유롭고 창의적인 음악표현하기, 음악놀이를 통해 음악적 개념 탐색하기라고 하는 변화를 경험하였다. This study investigates action research on music center activities conducted by a participating researcher in collaboration with a classroom teacher. This researcher conducted action research for about three months, in cooperation with the teacher in charge of a five-year-old children's class at a kindergarten. Date was collected from open questionnaires, reflective journals, and participant's observation and analyzed according to a qualitative research method. Some problems in music center include: a) small and monotonous place b) necessity of changes in music teaching method b) a lack of spontaneous participation in music center c) a lack of perception about the importance of music center d) a lack of interaction in music centerThe results of collaborative action research in music center are as follows: first, teachers came to enjoy the music with children, to reflect the music teaching, to understand children's creative music expression and try various music teaching. second, children came to increase the participation in music center, to express music in a free and creative way, to investigate music concept through music play.
