본 연구는 영아가 경험하는 다양한 예술경험을 질적으로 관찰하고 분석하여 영아의 경험을 좀 더 의미있게 보고 그 속에서 교육적 의미를 해석하고 영아 예술교육에 관한 접근법을 고려해볼 수 있도록 돕는 데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 서울시 K어린이집에서 2016년 6월부터 2016년 9월까지 영아반을 관찰하고 예술경험과 관련된 맥락을 찾아내려고 하였다. 연구결과 영아들의 예술경험은 어린이집 하루일과 속에서 다양하게 나타나고 있었는데, 음악, 미술, 춤, 극놀이와 관련된 예술경험이 골고루 나타났다. 예술경험을 크게 예술적 요소 탐색하기와 예술 표현하기, 예술 감상하기로 나누어 분석하였으며, 영아들은 예술과 관련된 다양한 경험을 하였다. 예술적 요소 탐색하기에서는 소리와 모양, 색깔, 움직임에 대한 탐색이 이루어졌으며, 예술 표현하기에서는 음악, 미술, 춤, 극놀이로 다양하게 표현하였으며, 예술 감상하기에서는 자연과 사물 감상하기가 나타났다. 이를 통해 영아들은 자연스런 일상생활 속에서 다양한 예술경험을 하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 영아를 위한 예술경험 지도를 위해 교사가 적절한 상호작용을 통한 접근이 중요함을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study explores the context of art experiences of infants in child care, provides guidance to teachers about teaching art to infants, and examines the following research question: first, How infants experience the art? second, What art experience means for infants? The study observed three classes of infants in child care for four months in Seoul by qualitative approach. This study revealed the following outcomes and implications. First, the infants explored artistic elements, such as sound, movement, shape and color. Second, the infants expressed themselves through music, painting, movement and dramatic play. Third, the infants enjoyed art. In conclusion, the infants experienced various art through daily routine in child care and teachers supported infants' art experiences with the appropriate interaction. In conclusion, infants search the artistic elements and express by art. In addition, infants can appreciate the art.
