본 연구는 사회보장기본법에 따른 지역단위 사회보장통계 구축과 관련된 쟁점사항을 검토하고, 통계체계 구축 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌을 검토하였으며, 몇 가지 쟁점사항인 사회복지통계와 사회보장통계의 관계, 사회보장통계와 지역사회보장통계의 관계, 지역사회지표(지역사회조사)와 지역사회보장통계의 관계를 검토하였다. 그리고 지역사회보장 통계체계 구축과 관련하여 거버넌스체계, 정보화시스템, 지표체계, 개별지표 등을 검토하였다. 그 외 향후 지역단위 사회보장통계 구축시 필요한 이론적･실용적 방안들을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to review issues related to social security statistics according to the social security basic law and is to propose measures for building a statistical system. To do so, I examine the leading literature and analyze relationship between social welfare statistics and social security statistics, social security statistics and regional social security statistics, and community indicators (community survey) and local social security statistics. To building regional social security statistics systems, I present governance systems, information systems, indicator systems, individual indicators. Furthermore, I suggest theoretical and practical ways required when building the regional social security statistics in the future.
