건강권에 대한 이해와 그 달성을 위해 인권의 불가분성‧·상호의존성·상호연관성 원칙을 인지할필요가 있다. 이 논문에서는 이들 원칙의 개념을 검토하고 이를 바탕으로 1990-2014년의 국내 건강권 논문에서 언급된 건강권에 대한 이해 현황과 건강권과 여타 인권·권리 사이의 관계를 분석한다. 이를 위해 한국교육학술정보원의 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 통해 선정한 386개의 석·박사학위논문과 학술지논문를 대상으로 내용분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 인권의 불가분성·상호의존성·상호연관성 원칙 자체를 언급한 건강권 논문은 3.1%로 미미했던 반면, 건강권과 타 인권·권리 사이의관계를 언급한 논문은 66.3%로 나타났다. 인권의 불가분성 측면에서 기존의 건강권 개념 이해는 사회권에 치우친 것으로 나타났고 인권의 상호의존성·상호연관성 측면에서 건강권과 타 인권·권리사이의 관계는 다차원적이고 복잡한 관계로 나타났다. 이는 한국적 상황에서의 인권에 배태된 건강권의 모습이라 할 수 있다. 향후 한국 사회의 건강권 개념 발전을 위해 건강권 개념 이해에 인권의 불가분성 원칙을 제대로 반영할 필요가 있고, 건강권 달성을 위해 인권에 배태된 건강권을 유념하면서인권의 실현 과정, 시민참여, 귀납적 접근방식, 인권영향평가, 타 영역과의 협력과 거버넌스에 한층더 주목할 필요가 있다. For the understanding and achievement of the right to health, it needs to recognize the principle of the indivisibility, interdependence and interrelatedness of human rights. This study seeks to review the conceptions, and to investigate the previous domestic understanding of the right to health, and the relations between the right to health and other human rights. A content analysis was employed to analyse the 386 Korean dissertations and journal articles relating to the right to health from 1990 to 2014. As a result, while only a few documents mention the principle of human rights, 66.3% of all documents mention the relations between the right to health and other human rights. In terms of the indivisibility of human rights, Korean scholarly understanding of the right to health is discouraging because of leaning toward economic, social, and cultural rights. In terms of the indivisibility, interdependence and interrelatedness of human rights, the relations between the right to health and other human rights mentioned by Korean scholarly literature have multiple dimensions and complexity, yet, it is the very phenomenon that the right to health is embedded in human rights in Korean context. In future, the indivisibility principle needs to be properly reflected in understanding the meaning of the right to health, and we need to pay more attention to realization process, public participation, inductive approach, human rights impact assessment, governance while recognizing the right to health embedded in human rights.
