[영문]In selecting an ambulatory EMR, Mount Sinai Hospital successfully revived a stalled process in a challenging financial climate using a framework of science and rigorous investigation, incorporating several innovations: 1) Review of medical informatics literature to develop mission statement, determine objectives, and guide demonstration process 2) Investigation of vendor statements, industry statements, other institution?s views of vendors, 3) User-centric selection and survey instrument scientifically and specifically designed to assess user feedback, 4) Scientific analysis of validated findings and survey results at all steering meetings, 5) Assessment of vendor ability to support research by identifying funded and published research, 6) Employing meticulous total cost of ownership analysis to assess/compare real costs of implementing vendor solution, and 7) Iterative meetings with stakeholders, executives and users to understand needs, address concerns and communicate vision.
