이 연구는 안마원의 창업 및 경영 지원 실태와 요구를 조사하여 안마원 창업 활성화와 경영 개선을 위한 지원 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역에서 사업자 등록을 하고 운영중인 안마원 총 189개소 중 100개소를 대상으로 조사가 이루어졌다. 연구 결과, 주요 문제점으로 안마원 창업 준비 및 실행 과정에 창업 전문가의 개입 및 지원이 이루어지지 않고 있었고, 창업 후 경영난을 겪고 있는 안마원에 대한 경영 컨설팅이나 추가 지원 역시 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 향후 안마원의 육성을 위해서 첫째, 안마원 맞춤형 창업 교육 및 지원 프로그램이 확대되어야 하고, 둘째, 안마원 창업 및 경영을 종합적으로 지원할 수 있는 권역별 안마원 원스톱 지원센터를 설치할 필요가 있고, 셋째, 안마원 종사자의 직무 역량을 높일 수 있는 다양한 현직 연수과정을 개설할 필요가 있으며, 마지막으로 본 연구에서 제안한 안마원 지원 정책 및 제도에 대해 정부 차원의 적극적인 검토와 반영이 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Business Status of Anmawon in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and seek a direction for improving the management. So, the proprietors of 100 Anmawons in Seoul and Gyeonggi province participated in this survey. This results are as follow:First, It is necessary to build special consulting system for supporting the establishing process of Anmawon and improving the management. So, the researchers suggest setting up the one-stop centers for supporting Anmawon on national or regional basis. Second, for successful business and management of Anmawon, it is necessary to open the entrepreneurship courses tailored Anmawon and in-service training courses for workers of Anmawon. Third, the various government policies for growing Anmawon should be developed and implemented.
