[영문]This study examines the relationship between socioeconomic indicatorsand health status among Asian Americans using datafrom the 2001 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS), apopulation-based random-digit-dial survey with race-ethnicsupplemental samples. Multivariate logistic regression analysesshow that the inverse relationship between socioeconomicposition and health status is similar for Asian Americans whenmeasured as an aggregate group compared to Whites. However, when specific Asian American ethnic groups are examined, therelationship varies greatly.
