이 연구는 질적평가방법 중, 현상학적 자기평가방법을 예로 하여 자료수집방법과 현상학적 환원방법을 구체적으로 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 결과로 실제의 사례를 들어서 자료수집방법을 제시하였으며, 특히 분석방법과 관련해서는 현상학적 환원의 예를 구체화하였다. 즉 현상학적 환원단계를 4단계로 구분하고, 실제 사례를 통하여 본질직관에 이르는 과정을 보여주고자 하였다. 그러나 이 연구에서 이들 접근법들을 알기 쉽게 제시하고 있다고는 하나 현재의 사회복지조직의 업무 여건상 이를 쉽게 적용하기에는 현실적 한계가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 단 이 연구는 현상학적 자기평가연구의 자료수집 및 분석과정을 구체적으로 제시해 줌으로서 향후 실천현장에서 질적 평가의 적용 가능성을 높였다는 점에 함의가 있을 것이다. The phenomenological self evaluation methodology is one of the qualitative research methodologies, and the purpose of this research study is to show how to collect data and to use the method of phenomenological reduction. This research provides four stages of phenomenological reduction and applies real cases. Even though phenomenological self evaluation methodology can be applied to administration for social welfare organization, this research study has some limitations. However, this phenomenological self evaluation methodology of qualitative research suggests the method of inquiry that seeks to understand social work practices.
