[영문]As in many other countries, adoption and foster-care have seen important changes in Spain. Adoption of healthy Spanish babies has now become the exception, while special needs and inter-country adoptions have become much more common. Foster-care, in its turn, has also changed, and now there are new types of fostering arrangements and new professional practices substituting old ones. This article presents a summary of the main changes that occurred in recent years in the context of adoption and foster-care in Spain.
