이 연구에서는 고졸 취업의 방향 설정 및 질적 성장을 위한 중등 직업교육기관의운영 방안을 제시하기 위하여 전국 특성화고.마이스터고의 취업 담당 부장 교사456명과 교장 351명, 총 807명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 바람직한 고졸 취업의 방향 설정에 대해서는, 최근 고졸 취업이 양적.질적성장 모두 이루어졌으며 앞으로 고졸 취업의 질적 성장이 강조되는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 위해 질적 평가 항목이 반영된 취업 성과 평가 방식의 개선이 요구된다. 둘째, 고졸 취업의 질적 성장을 위한 산업체 현장 중심 교육 운영에 대해서는, 현장 중심 교육에 대한 학교, 산업체, 유관기관, 학생.학부모의 인식 및 참여를 개선하고, 현장 중심 교육을 위한 산학협력을 할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한,학생 교육 및 교원 연수에 대한 산업체의 지원과 현장 중심 교육의 정규 교육 과정화를 위한 교육과정 운영 규정 및 지침에 대한 개정이 요구된다. 셋째, 고졸 취업의 질적 성장을 위한 학교 체제 개편 및 신입생 모집 시 고려해야할 사항에 대해서는, 산업체의 교육 요구에 맞는 학과 개편 및 교육과정 수정을 위한 교원의 의지 및 교육 여건의 강화가 요구되며, 중등 직업교육기관에 입학을 희망하는 학생들에게 교육과정과 교육성과에 대한 실질적인 진로 자료의 제공이 요구된다. For this research, a survey of 456 teachers and 351 principals in specialized highschools and Meister high schools was conducted so as to set the direction for theemployment and suggest operative measures for secondary vocational educationinstitutions for the qualitative growth of high school graduate employment. The results of this research are as follows. First, employment for high school graduates has recently showed quantitative andqualitative growth, and the qualitative growth of employment should be emphasized. Second, the awareness of and participation in of field-oriented education by schools,industry, related institutions, students and parents should be improved, and schoolsand industry should lead field-oriented education with industrial-academiccooperation. Third, it's necessary to strengthen teachers’ will and educationalconditions for the department reorganization and curriculum revision that meet therequests of industry. Finally, it's necessary to provide the realistic career data tostudents who want to enter educational institutions.
