본 연구에서는 예비유아교사의 책읽기 습관 및 효능감, 읽기 교수 효능감이 어떠하며 학교유형에 따라 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고 책읽기 습관 및 효능감이 읽기 교수 효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 충청도와 경기도의 4년제, 3년제 대학에 다니고 있는 학생 291명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료 분석을 위하여 평균과 표준편차, t검증, 상관분석 및 중다회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 책읽기 습관은 긍정적이었으며 여가습관, 도서관습관이 높았다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 책읽기 효능감은 약간 높은 편이었으며 대체로 4년제 대학의 예비유아교사의 효능감이 더 높았다. 독서향상, 독해력, 독해전략의 하위범주에서 학교유형별로 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 읽기 교수 효능감은 중간 이상이었으며 개인 교수 효능감이 교수결과 기대 보다 높았다. 학교유형별로는 개인 교수 효능감에서 차이가 있었다. 마지막으로 예비유아교사의 책읽기 습관보다는 책읽기 효능감이 읽기 교수 효능감과 유의한 관계가 있었으며 특히 사회적 피드백을 제외한 책읽기 효능감의 모든 하위범주에서 개인 교수 효능감과 관계가 있었다. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between pre-service teachers' teaching efficacy and their reading habits, and the personal efficacy of reading books and to investigate how they can be different, depending on the pre-service teacher's education level. This study targeted 291 pre-service teachers located in universities or colleges in Gyeonggi and Choongcheong provinces. The collected data were statistically processed using mean, standard deviation, T-test and correlation using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study show that pre-service teachers' reading habits are above average. Also, there were significant differences in pre-service teachers' reading habits according to the teacher's level of education. Second, pre-service teachers' personal efficacy of reading books was above average. There were especially significant differences in pre-service teachers' efficacy of reading advancement and ability to read, and reading strategies according to the teacher's level of education. Also pre-service teachers' teaching efficacy of reading books was also above average. Finally, a relationship between the pre-service teachers' teaching efficacy and personal efficacy of reading book was found.
