본 연구의 목적은 1세반 주제중심 음악프로그램을 개발하여 영아의 자발적 음악행동에 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는데 있다. 연구대상은 서울시내 구립과 민간어린이집의 1세반 영아 30명이다. 연구도구는 황인주(2008)의 ‘음악관련 자발적 행동유형 목록’을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1세반 주제중심 음악프로그램이 자발적인 악기 다루기에서는 악기 관심갖기와 소리 및 악기탐색과 연주 둘 다에, 자발적인 움직이기에서는 음악적 움직이기에, 자발적 듣기에서는 듣기만 일어난 경우와 다른 행동과 동시에 일어나는 경우 둘 다에서 실험집단과 통제집단간의 의미 있는 차이가 나타났고, 노래 부르기에서는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 1세반 주제중심 음악프로그램이 자발적 악기다루기와 움직이기 그리고 듣기에 효과가 있었다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of theme-oriented music programs for one-year-olds on infants' spontaneous musical behaviors. The participants of this study were 30 one-year-old infants enrolled at a childcare center in Seoul. Data on their musical behaviors were collected using the Infants' Spontaneous Musical Behaviors Type List developed by In Ju Hwang (2008). The results were as follows. There were significant differences between the experimental group and the controlled group in spontaneous playing with musical instruments (interest in musical instruments/sound, musical instrument searching and playing), moving (musical movement) and listening (only listening/ listening to music simultaneously with other actions), but no difference was found in singing. The conclusion was that the theme-oriented music programs for one-year-olds had a significant effects on their spontaneous playing with musical instruments, moving and listening.
