본 연구는 국내 유아교육의 ICT 활용교육 활성화를 위해서 기존 선행연구들이 밝힌 변인에 추가로 미래지향적 접근에서 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육에 대한 자신감 변인을 새롭게 밝히고자 하였다. 또한 향후 효과적 교사교육을 위한 제언을 하기 위하여 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육 자신감을 예측하는 변인도 함께 탐색하였다. 연구를 위하여 203명의 유아교사가 참여하였고, 첫 번째 연구문제인 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육 자신감 정도에 따른 교육운영방식의 차이를 분석하기 위해, 자신감이 높고, 낮은 집단으로 구분한 후 독립표본 t 검정을 실시하여 그 차이를 분석하였다. 두 번째 연구문제인 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육 자신감 예측변인을 탐색하기 위해 기존 선행연구들이 밝힌 유아교육의 ICT 활용교육 활성화를 위한 변인들과 함께 pearson의 적률상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, ICT 활용교육 자신감이 높은 유아교사와 자신감이 낮은 유아교사는 교육운영방식에 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 자신감이 높은 교사는 낮은 교사에 비해 선행연구들이 밝힌 올바른 방향의 ICT 활용교육을 현장에서 실천하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육 자신감을 예측하는 주요 변인은 ICT 활용교육을 위한 교수학습방법 지식으로, 유아교사의 ICT 활용교육 교수학습방법 지식정도가 높으면 ICT 활용교육 자신감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. This study aimed to suggest a new variable for activating the education using ICT in the field of early childhood education. For this study, 203 early childhood teachers participated. The survey tool was made based on a literature review, and distributed to subjects and collected from them. For the first research question which analyzing the difference of operating education according to the degree of confidence in education using ICT, 203 subjects were divided into two groups whether confidence is high or low. And independent t-test was conducted. For second research question which analyzing predictive factors for confidence, pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. According to the results, there is a significant difference of operating education between two groups having different level of confidence. The early childhood teachers who have high confidence showed that they operate proper education using ICT rather than other teachers. And the main predictive factor for confidence was the degree of knowledge of teaching-learning methods for education using ICT.
