Narration:
“…One in ten people aged 65 or older is said to have dementia…”
“…By next year, the number of dementia patients is expected to surpass one million…”
“…A government survey found that the number of people living with dementia will exceed one million…”
"...As Korea’s population ages, the number of people with dementia is rising sharply..."
Lee:
“As of 2025, Korea is classified as a super-aged society, where people aged 65 or older account for more than 20% of the total population. According to the national epidemiological survey on dementia, about 9.2% of those aged 65 or older are estimated to have dementia in 2025. That translates to roughly 970,000 people―meaning that about one in ten older adults in Korea is living with dementia.”
