On March 28, KIHASA held an international conference to explore the development direction of the Korean welfare state by reviewing the welfare state discussions on global environmental changes and policy responses. This conference, held at the Ivy Hall, Hotel President Seoul, was held under the theme of 'Citizens and Grand Challenges' as an event to celebrate the formation of an international research consortium with foreign scholars who joined the discussions to explore the future models of the Korean welfare state.
