KIHASA Holds Policy Dialogue on Fertility and Population Challenges with Swedish Delegation

On November 19, KIHASA held a working-level policy dialogue with a delegation from the Commission for a Future with Children under the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. Representatives from both institutions--including Park Se-kyung, Vice President of KIHASA; Hwang Nam-hee, Deputy Director of the Population Policy Research Department; Asa Hansson, Head of the Commission for a Future with Children; and Kristofer Lundberg, Acting Head of the Policy Analysis Unit at the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs--discussed the societal impacts of demographic challenges, such as low fertility and population aging, and exhcanged insights on policy outcomes and directions to address these issues.
