KIHASA Makes Donation to Sejong Community Chest of Korea

On December 26, KIHASA held a charity donation ceremony at its Yeomin Room, where about 4 million won, contributed by its employees, was handed over to the Sejong Community Chest of Korea.

This donation was particularly meaningful as all KIHASA employees participated in supporting marginalized neighbors during the year-end season.

Handing over the donation to the Sejong Community Chest, KIHASA president Lee said, "This is a token of KIHASA employees' wish to contribute to the community." He also affirmed KIHASA's commitment to its social responsibility through contiual social contributions in the future. In response, Ms. Lee Kyung-ah, secretary general of the Sejong Community Chest, who was present at the ceremony, thanked KIHASA for its continuous social contributions and promised to use the donation in the most valuable way.

The donation ceremony was attended by representatives of KIHASA: Lee Taesoo, President; Kang Hye-gyu, Vice President; Park Jong-seo, Director of Research Planning and Coordination; Sung Eun-ho, Director of Administration; and Chun Jeong-hoon, Head of the General Affairs Team. The Sejong Community Chest was represented by Lee Kyung-ah, Secretary General, and Lee Sang-deok, Deputy Manager.

Since relocating to Sejong City at the end of 2014, KIHASA has sponsored the Sejong Community Chest of Korea and the Sejong Migrant Workers Welfare Center with donations collected from its employees and savings from its overhead expenses.
