International Symposium on Senior-Friendly Healthcare Services and Frailty Management
Wednesday, August 30, 2017 - 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
YOO IL HAN Hall, Avison Biomedical Research Center, Yonsei University Medical System
On the threshold of aged society, what matters for older Koreans is no longer just to live long but to do so healthily. Rapidly aging, Korea is undergoing a change where chronic diseases such as dementia are getting more prevalent among its rapidly growing elderly population along with the increasing use and spending of medical services. Elderly health has emerged as a major social agenda and its provision requires not only individual carers and families but society as a whole. In this respect, the symposium is an important opportunity for us to contribute to setting future policy directions by sharing and discussing each country's experience in senior-friendly healthcare services and community frailty management.
At this symposium, experts from the United States, Canada, Japan, and Korea will share their experiences in hospital-based senior-friendly healthcare services and community-based frailty prevention and management services.
Please join us and share your informed opinion.
