이 연구의 목적은 쪽방에 거주하는 여성 독거노인의 삶을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연구자들은 노인 7명을 대상으로 한 심층면접을 통해 수집한 자료를 가지고 귀납적인 범주화 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면, 참여자들의 ‘쪽방촌 정착의 실마리’는 ‘남편의 상실’로부터 찾을 수 있었다. 그리고 참여자들의 ‘쪽방촌 정착 후의 삶’은 ‘쪽방 관리’ 일을 하며 오로지 ‘자식만을 위한 삶’이었다. 마지막으로 ‘현재의 삶’은 ‘고락상생(苦樂相生)’의 삶인데, ‘건강하지 못한 몸’과 ‘비수급자의 삶’은 고(苦)의 삶을 의미하고, ‘자녀지원군’과 ‘차별이 없고 인정이 넘치는 관계망’은락(樂)의 삶을 의미한다. 그리고 이 둘이 현재의 삶에 공존하고 있다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 쪽방을 관리하는 여성 독거노인들을 위한 사회복지정책적·실천적·학문적 함의를 제시하였다.;The purpose of this study was to understand life of the elderly women who shabby one-room dwellers in which they also have been living alone. To accomplish this purpose, researchers had interview with 7 elderly women who shabby one-room dwellers in which they also have been living alone, and analysed the data through inductive categorization analysis. The results of this study including 3 meaningful subjects and 9 concepts were as follows: ‘Shabby One-room Town settled clue’ ① The loss of her husband ② settling Shabby One-room Town ‘Life after settling Shabby One-room Town’ 1) Difficulties: ① Shabby One-room management ② Reason for the existence: The life for children, ‘The current life’ ① Unhealthy life, ② Non-beneficiaries of the life: The odd poor’ ③ Survival of the reason: Living will never die, 2) Joy: ① Child support, ② relationshilp in in a shabby one-room town: support system what is full discrimination and recognition. Based on these results implications for policy, practice, and theory have been provided, which might be helpful for the elderly women who have been living alone in the shabby one-room town, as well as practitioners.
본 연구는 사회적 일자리활동에 참여하는 결혼이민여성들의 임파워먼트 경험과정을 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 사회적 일자리를 가진 10인의 결혼이주여성들을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였고, 사례분석을 통하여 결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 9개의 하위범주들을 도출한 뒤 다시 하위범주들을 묶어 최종적으로 3개의 핵심범주들을 도출하였다. 이렇게 정리된 빈곤여성가구주들의 임파워먼트 경험은 “취업의 필요성”, “경제활동에서 부딪히는 어려움”, “긍정적 변화경험” 등으로 정리할 수 있었다. 이러한 3개의 핵심범주들을 통해 볼 때, 사회적 일자리에 참여한 결혼이주여성들의 임파워먼트 경험은 취업활동에서의 어려움을 이기고 긍정적 변화경험으로 강화됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 결혼이주여성들의 사회적일자리 여건뿐만이 아니라 다양한 참여프로그램을 통해서 임파워먼트를 향상시킬 수 있는 정책 및 임상적 프로그램 개발에도 관심을 가질 필요가 있다고 사료된다.;This study is to investigate empowerment experience of internationally married women’s empowerment participating in the social jobs. For this study, ten internationally married women were interviewed and the collected qualitative data were analyzed through case study analysis. Main results of this study provide four main categories, such as the unstable adaptation, necessity of employment, difficulties in economic activities, positive experience of changing. Based on the results of this study, empowerment experience of internationally married women through social jobs was observed to get themselves strengthened. Therefore, various policies and practical programs to improve not only empowerment of internationally married women through social jobs but also their working conditions are needed to developed.
