호스피스완화의료 병상필요량 추정: 말기암환자를 중심으로

이 연구의 목적은 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량 추정방법을 고찰하여 유형화하고, 우리나라에 적용가능한 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량 산출식을 개발하여 말기암환자 중심의 중단기 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량을 추정하는 것이다. 각종 문헌과 선행 연구를 고찰하여 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량 추정의 방법론을 유형화하였으며, 각 방법론의 유형별로 구체적 내용과 특징을 정리, 기술하였다. 우리나라 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량 산출식은 각 방법론의 적용가능성, 타당성, 합리성을 고려하여 현 이용 양상을 기반으로 하는 방법론을 채택하였으며, 개발된 산출식을 적용한 결과, 2020년경 우리나라 말기암환자 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량은 1,528~1,810병상으로 추정되었다. 보건의료서비스 제공계획 수립을 위해서는 자원의 필요량을 파악하는 것이 핵심요소이다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 호스피스완화의료 병상필요량을 기반으로 우리나라 호스피스완화의료 서비스 제공계획 수립에 참고할 수 있다.;This study aims to develop a model for assessing the needs for hospice and palliative care beds in general, and to estimate the need of terminally-ill cancer patients for hospice and palliative care beds. The assessment model was formulated through literature review and examination of relevant studies conducted in the past. As a result of applying the developed formula, it is estimated that by 2020, terminally-ill Korean cancer patients will need 1,528-1,810 beds in hospice and palliative care. This study provides a reference for decision-making in the future supply of hospice and palliative care.
